Status
Completed

Urban Splash appointed Glenn Howells Architects in 2004 to develop proposals for the conversion of the Rotunda in Birmingham’s city centre. The Rotunda, one of Birmingham’s best known (and loved) landmarks, is a Grade II-listed structure completed in 1965.

Its conversion from offices to 234 high quality residential apartments was completed in 2008 and included the creation of a double-height reception area and the re-cladding of the façade to improve its appearance and new residents’ views.

The final 92 apartments sold within three hours of their release by Urban Splash.
